The historic center of Verona (distance 44 km, about 30'), built in a bend of the Adige river, dates back to the Middle Ages.

Verona is known as the city of Romeo and Juliet,

characters from Shakespeare's play, and it is no coincidence that it houses a 16th century building called 'Juliet's house', with a delightful balcony overlooking a courtyard.
